Feeling Adventurous?Goat's Milk Soap

Goat milk has been cherished for centuries, tracing back to the days of Cleopatra, who was renowned for bathing in it to maintain her legendary beauty. As one of the most widely utilized ingredients, goat milk has undergone extensive study in both clinical and translational research. The results speak for themselves: it works wonders.

All our milk soaps contain only fresh farm milk, making them perfect for people with dry skin or other skin conditions. Unlike store-bought commercial soaps packed with detergents and synthetic agents that dry out your skin, Grandma’s natural handmade soap contains no added chemicals or detergents.

In addition, all our soaps are made with luxurious oils, butter, and all-natural additives such as oatmeal botanicals and clays, which are rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and essential nutrients for healthy skin.

Glycerin is not added to homemade soap; it is naturally created during the soap-making process. Glycerin is a humectant, meaning it attracts moisture to your skin and has been proven to be beneficial. Unlike commercial soap companies, we retain all the glycerin in our handmade soap, creating a rich and “luxurious bar”.

Goat milk soap is a gentle cleanser rich in fatty acids that can help support a healthy skin barrier to keep skin nourished and moisturized.

What are the benefits of goat milk in soap?

Due to its lactic acid content, goat milk soap may help control or prevent acne. Lactic acid is a natural exfoliant that gently removes dead skin cells, which helps prevent acne by keeping pores clear of dirt, oil, and excess sebum.. Moreover, goat milk soap is gentle and may help maintain the skin’s moisture

This soap is made with goat's milk and coconut milk, both are a natural, soothing skin cleanser and moisturizers. We add oatmeal which calms irritated skin and honey which adds moisturizer to the skin. Coconut-oil-infused soap moistures the skin. It's delicate, non-oily, and sweet-smelling as a tropical breeze. We use fresh creamy goats milk made from farm-fresh local milk. We never use powdered goats milk or water. Goat milk is rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals. Its gentle and nourishing properties bathe your skin in luxury. The oatmeal naturally exfoliates your skin, leaving you feeling refreshed and silky soft.

Ghee, or clarified butter, is an Ayurvedic staple used to moisturize and purify the body. It's also a great digestive and detox aid because it stimulates the liver to secrete bile. Rogers Badgett, owner of the Raj, an Ayurveda health retreat in Vedic City, Iowa, suggests ingesting a quarter teaspoon of ghee in the morning and night (this is not recommended for overweight people or those who have weak digestion). Some centers also use it in Netra Basti, a purification treatment said to balance the pitta dosha and bring luster to the eyes. It's not for the squeamish: In a reclining prone position, you slowly blink as a skilled technician gently applies warm ghee to your eyes. Afterward, your closed eyes are wiped gently and the residual oils moisturize skin and soften lines.
